Cause: The volume size specified was too large.
Action: Select a smaller volume size.
ORA-15496 表示卷大小大于设定的最大值，这是一个可识别的错误，服务器将不能启动。
ORA-15496 in 11g and 12c is thrown when the volume size of a user-created tablespace is larger than the defined maximum size.
ORA-15496错误通常会在您尝试创建超出大小限制的表空间时发生，比如在创建表空间时在MAXDATA参数上设置错误的值，或者因为错误地定义了表空间大小而导致当前部署的Oracle实例太小。
1）检查MAXDATA参数是否正确。
